PinkBlush Maternity Review

When I was pregnant, the decision to take maternity pictures was easy. Finding the perfect outfit was not.  I knew the look I was going for, but I couldn’t find the right dress and lord knows I wasn’t going to waddle around all day looking for one.

Luckily, I came across PinkBlush which is a trendy online boutique that has loads of maternity options! I’m not the kind of person to spend money on something that I’m only going to wear once (excluding my wedding dress, hah), so my favorite part about this site is that almost everything is transitional into motherhood.

For example, this pink maxi was perfect for our maternity shoot and also my baby shower. For motherhood, it triples as a nursing dress 😉

Oh, how simple and quiet those days were!

Fast forward to now….

It’s hard to believe that this is the same dress!

My life is very different. It is not nearly as pretty and neat as it once was. I definitely don’t feel very pretty or neat anymore. Gone are the days of the glow and the bump *sigh*. Now I’m constantly pulling shirts over my head to pump five times a day. I’m usually displaying what Kara had for lunch and/or I’m running late for an afternoon appointment and I’m still in my pajamas from the night before.

Mom life is hard.

It is hard on your mind.body.skin.hair… and you guessed it, your wardrobe.

Now that I’m toting this little stinker around, I prefer something that I can slip over my sports bra and leggings and zip out the door. I want something to help me feel put together. Something that is comfortable yet stylish, BUT it must be affordable and it must be versatile.

Voilà!

I was sent this basic maternity top from PinkBlush.

I definitely could have worn this while I was pregnant (and I wish I would have). If you are a new or expecting mom, you must check out this online boutique whether you’re searching for something to accentuate that bump at your baby shower or at that wedding next month. You might also be like me and wanting to replace some items in your closet with something that fits into your new lifestyle.
