I want to teach you. I want you to see that my daughter is meant for amazing things. I desperately want you to understand how hard she is working to do the same things that you and I take for granted. I share because I want YOU to share. I want to see the world change its perception of Down syndrome. I want the world become even the tiniest bit more accepting than it is today & I want you to be a part of it.

Registering for our Baby with Down Syndrome – Part IV: LUNCH TIME
Feeding this child of mine has never been a fun task. From the get-go we had problems latching so I've been exclusively pumping and bottle feeding ever since. I tell ya, low muscle tone is B*TCH.
Happy Mother's Day
To Every Mama.

My Unexpected Dream Job Is Being A Special Needs Mom
I have a vivid memory of when I was a kid and my mom was driving me and my little brother somewhere. She told us "You can be anything you want to be when you grow up." I looked out the window into the trees, "I want to be a deer." My brother followed suit and said, "I want to be a dragon." I wish I could go back and see my mom's face at that moment 🙂
